Does your dog or cat have less-than-sweet smelling breath? It could be due to a buildup of plaque, tartar, or calculus on his/her teeth, which can contribute to other health complications as they age. Poor dental health can actually take time off of your pet’s life and can cause substantial discomfort and illness. We will examine your pet’s mouth to determine if an ultrasonic scaling is necessary, and we can provide that service right here in the clinic. Digital dental radiographs are done to see the health of your pet's teeth below the gum line (roots) before all dental procedures, so we can often see problem areas before your pet has noticeable discomfort. We will perform all needed care including extractions, ultrasonic scaling, polishing, and treatment of any gingival (gum tissue) abnormalities. We offer fluoride treatment and Oravet dental sealant, and can recommend at home care products to keep your pet’s teeth in top condition between professional cleanings. We also offer special food for your pet to keep those teeth clean in between visits.
