The month of February is Pet Dental Month! Pets can have dental buildup much like a person would if they never brushed or flossed, and dental health is important to overall pet health. Poor tooth condition can lead to infections, pain, and can affect internal organ function. If your pet has “doggy breath” (even cats) he/she likely has buildup of calculus that should be removed. Since animals don’t like to “open up and say aah” it will require them to stay with us for the day so we may clean the teeth under general anesthesia. We will be offering discounted dental services during the month of February – please let us know you want the dental month special when calling to schedule your pet’s February teeth cleaning!
